The Bay Area and surrounding communities are some of the most diverse, progressive and forward thinking communities in the world. At the same time, we live in an earthquake prone area where being prepared for an emergency or disaster is important – both for the community as a whole and for businesses, individual residents and their families.  The Bay Area takes preparation for hazards seriously.  We do this to protect what we love and to help us to survive and recover from emergencies or disasters. 

2010 marks The Big Rumble’s 2nd annual campaign.  Last year was a tremendous success with several Greater Bay Area cities participating. This series of events designed to connect the Bay Area with preparedness resources while connecting neighbors within their communities.  We achieve this through community block parties, office parties, city-hosted preparedness events, as well as through online preparedness tools and resources. 

When disaster strikes is your staff prepared personally with their families in order to ensure that they are able to return to work and be effective quickly? Show the Greater Bay Area that your company cares about their resiliency and help your employees learn how to get prepared by signing up to host one of The Big Rumble office parties!

Office party participants generously provide a $500 participation donation toward The Big Rumble 2010 campaign.  This fiscal support demonstrates their organization’s significant commitment to the mission and vision of The Big Rumble.  This funding helps to support local preparedness events, social networking, resource tools, and a website that is both informative and easy to follow.  Event participants help the Greater Bay Area Community create a feeling of empowerment, resilience, and unity.

In return, your company’s name will be associated with The Big Rumble through our extensive marketing campaign. This includes recognition on www.TheBigRumble.org with a listing of your organization on our participant page and a direct link to your website. We will also include your organization’s name in promotions on our social media including Facebook and Twitter.
