The Big Rumble is a series of events (held in the spring and fall) designed to connect the Bay Area with preparedness resources while commemorating the 1906 Great Earthquake & Fire and the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake. Tens of thousands of residents, organizations and businesses across the Greater Bay Area that are already participating. Through local events, social networking, resource tools and a website that is both informative and easy to follow, we are creating a feeling of empowerment and unity throughout the Bay Area community. Committed 2 Community is honored to have been able to partner with the agencies of the City and County of San Francisco and its community partners to pilot The Big Rumble in its inaugural year of 2009.
